With in the next few days, I am going to upload poems of mine that were published in national anthologies of the years. These are also copywrited under the publishers who created these books.
I found an article I wrote many years ago for The Midnight Palace reused on this blog website. Thought it was cool and I appreciated the fact that my article caught someone’s eye.

Once the spring comes, new writing will be added to the site! Stay tuned and please be patient! The winter is a much more hectic time of year for me than the spring! I’ll make sure that what I write is fantastic for all you folks who will come back for more.

The agency offered me a contract to publish, but I declined. I understand that Subsidy is an option, but it’s not an option for me. As much as I love my story, a 12 page manuscript is not worth 6-10 thousand dollars that I don’t plan to have any time soon. If I was to spend that kind of money for marketing, publication, and production, I’d want to invest in a novel. It’s good to know that my work may have been appreciated, but wiser decisions needed to be made.
If anyone out there is interested in subsidy publishing, do your research! Understand that at the end of the day, it is still the company still trying to make money even though they say that they are willing to take risks unlike commercial publishing. Well…because there is really no risk to be made when money is paid up front. And whether the book actually sells for you to get royalties, that’s up to the public!
Once I get myself organized, I will really start finding a way to push my work.
I could have a publishing opportunity with The Sunday Driver. We’ll see how that goes and of course I’ll keep any updates posted. After initial review, the publishing company will determine if I am a good candidate.
By next week I will have a new story. I am waiting for final review from a dear friend and then I am going to register it. Thank you for being patient.
So far there is only one story posted under the writing section. More will follow in the coming months due to editing and filing copyright applications with the Nation Library of Congress.
